Job description

Erizon is seeking an External Sales Representative with a proven ability to proactively manage inbound sales enquiries, as well as treat qualified enquiries as business development opportunities to travel nationally and meet prospective clients.

Based in our Wingfield office and warehouse, as the External Sales Representative reporting directly to the National Manager, you will:

  • Work in a small team as well as individually to qualify and progress inbound leads
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers of new and existing clients
  • Travel interstate/intrastate (to both metropolitan and regional areas) at short notice as required to meet with clients and prospective clients
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Present solution-based outcomes for clients through the presentation of written proposals, quotes, and tenders

Skills & Experience 

To be successful in the External Sales Representative role, you will need the following:

  • Proven B2B sales experience with sales account management skills desirable
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clients, external organisations, and internal stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build brand and company presence
  • Proven ability to achieve KPIs
  • Understanding and demonstrated best practice use of CRM systems
  • Previous experience or exposure to the mining, rail, defence, civil, and/or environmental sectors is an advantage but not necessary
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • An ability to secure and conduct on-site client meetings
  • Understanding of clients' key motivations
  • An ability to tailor and present solutions
  • Closing skills (securing POs)
  • Professional presentation
