Welder Fabricator
Company Overview
Our client, a skilled sheet metal fabrication business based in Maddington, is seeking a talented Welder Fabricator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both mild steel and stainless steel, using MIG and TIG welding techniques. If you’re proficient in reading detailed drawings, operating robot welder machines, and using hand and power tools, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Welding and Fabrication: Join metal components and structures using welding techniques. Cut, bend and shape metal materials according to blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Reading Technical Drawings: Interpret detailed drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Robot Welder Operation: Experience operating and setting up robot welder machines is a plus.
- Material Handling: Prepare metal materials for fabrication, including cutting and shaping.
- Quality Control: Inspect welded joints for quality and adherence to standards.
- Equipment Setup: Set up welding equipment and adjust parameters.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and practices.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Vocational or Trade School training, Associate’s Degree in welding/welding technology, or completion of an apprenticeship program.

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:20 am to 3:30 pm (overtime available).
- Hourly Rate: $45.00 per hour (plus penalty rates).
