Welder Fabricator
Company Overview
Our client, a skilled sheet metal fabrication business based in Maddington, is seeking a talented Welder Fabricator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both mild steel and stainless steel, using MIG and TIG welding techniques. Responsibilities:
- Welding and Fabrication: Join metal components and structures using welding techniques. Cut, bend and shape metal materials according to blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Reading Technical Drawings: Interpret detailed drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Robot Welder Operation: Experience operating and setting up robot welder machines is a plus.
- Material Handling: Prepare metal materials for fabrication, including cutting and shaping.
- Quality Control: Inspect welded joints for quality and adherence to standards.
- Equipment Setup: Set up welding equipment and adjust parameters.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and practices.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Vocational or Trade School training, Associate’s Degree in welding/welding technology, or completion of an apprenticeship program.

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:20 am to 3:30 pm (overtime available).
- Hourly Rate: $45.00 per hour (plus penalty rates).
