About this role:
Fangda Australia is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced project manager/Senior Project Coordinator to join our team, in order to cope with new projects and the expansion of our company. This is an opportunity to work with a friendly and exciting team in a full-time position.
As the Facade Project Manager/Senior Project Coordinator, you will be exposed to many aspects of the facade industry in a challenging environment. Your duty will be, but not limited to:
- Client Liaison;
- Managing the process of concept design, mock-up design, detailed shop drawing and engineering;
- Aligning the sample approval process;
- Monitoring the process of system testing, material ordering, fabrication and logistics;
- Providing well-experienced advice and solutions for the client, during the installation process;
- Management and coordination of subcontractors(such as installers), and the placement and management of project team members;
- Managing internal and external resources;
- Developing project delivery program and keeping all the resources aligned with the program;
- Deliver projects on time and within budget;
- Continuous improvement in company processes and procedures;
- Reporting to the higher management team on a weekly basis.
To be successful in this role
To be successful in securing this exciting opportunity, the suitable candidate will require the following attributes:
- 3-10 years of experience in the commercial facade industry, or with a proven ability in a similar role;
- Strong problem-solving ability and being able to work under pressure;
- Background in engineering and construction would be preferred;
- Knowledge of relative Australian Standards and knowledge of design and specification would be preferred;
- Positive and energetic personality to work along within a team;
- Well-organized attitude and excellent communication skills;
- Experience working with Tier 1 and 2 builders would be valued;
- Strong IT skills and AutoCAD, Bluebeam and similar experience would be an advantage;
- Must be able to speak and read in Mandarin;
- Must have the right visa to work full-time in Australia.
