Custom Clad is an industry leader in commercial cladding delivering key projects throughout Victoria in collaboration with tier one builders across a number of sectors including government, health and residential.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Façade Cladding Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our management team, you will be working closely with the estimation and on-site teams and will be responsible for managing multiple cladding projects. This role requires on-site presence, and the successful candidate will be based in our offices in Notting Hill, Victoria.
Responsibilities include:- Successfully deliver multiple projects simultaneously from design through to defect liability. Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with our inhouse design, estimating and on-site teams to develop cost effective engineered solutions to complete the project within budget and to the required standard.
- Establish and grow partnering relations with external head contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure all cladding and façade installations meet the specified standards and regulations.
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess progress of the site team and ensure design is being followed, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
- Prioritise and enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols on construction sites. Manage all health and safety requirements and promote a culture of safety among project teams.
Requirements Include:
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Project Manager with cladding and façade projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations.
- Basic AutoCAD experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisation skills.
- Proven experience managing multiple end-to-end projects simultaneously.
- Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, or similar field preferred but not essential if you have a proven track record.
