About the role
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities assistant to support the daily operations of their facilities. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment, assist with various maintenance tasks, and support office logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment
- Assist with office moves, furniture assembly, and space organization
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the common areas, restrooms, and kitchens
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialised maintenance services
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with inventory management of office supplies and equipment
- Respond promptly to facility-related issues and service requests
- Support event and breakdown, including arraigning furniture and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential issues
- Assist with mail distribution and other administrative tasks as needed
Skills & Experience
- Min 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Previous maintenance experience is advantageous
- Driver's license
- Industrial White card
- Chemical certificate (desirable)
- Asbestos awareness certificate (desirable)
