SalaryIDEXX is seeking an experienced Regional Facilities Manager at our Brisbane location within the largest veterinary laboratory in the Southern Hemisphere in our brand-new custom designed laboratory in Eight Mile Plains. This role will provide a point of customer contact for Facilities support and services across Australia and New Zealand. You will be responsible for managing the conditions of all offices, laboratories and distribution centres in the region. You will also be responsible for responding to work orders, ensuring preventative maintenance for all building infrastructure, vendor procurement and management; as well, responding to and managing Facilities incidents. You will also be working cross-functionally within the Global Facilities Team, leading and supporting projects in the region. You will be the onsite and regional subject matter expert in the areas of Facilities systems and design, maintenance & associated safety, building code compliance and commissioning.

What you will need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of related experience
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple facilities across different locations remotely.
Strong project/program management skills with knowledge in use of Facilities applications, e.g., CMMS, BAS
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, customers, vendors, and staff.
Advanced knowledge of commercial HVAC, Electrical, Fire Alarms, Sprinkler systems, Generators, Lab Equipment
Must be "hands-on" and assist in completing maintenance work.
Respond to critical alarms and incidents, complete root cause analysis and drive risk-mitigating solutions
