We support people to develop skills and independence through a range of programs including community engagement through work readiness and work experience placements, skill development, creative activities, recreation opportunities, health and wellbeing awareness and skill development. We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Facilities and Maintenance Officer to work part time or full time hours.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- The general day to day repairs and maintenance of Bayley House properties and facilities including the co-ordination, control and compliance (12 Properties)
- The preventative maintenance programme for all properties
- Ensuring that work performed is within prescribed organisational business processes and guidelines
- Ensuring effective and efficient use of resources as well as compliance with all legislation and standards.
The successful applicant will have obtained previous experience in a relevant industry, service or an equivalent level of expertise and experience to undertake the range of activities required or come from a trade background.
