About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our growing South West Management team. Based in Mandurah, and working alongside a dedicated local team, you will have access to a strong support network based in our Perth head office and will be responsible for the Facilities Management of a portfolio of retail properties.
Your main function will be the maintenance and coordination of building operations, cost and engineering efficiency across a portfolio of retail centres across the South West region and the key deliverables for the role include:
- Attend to operations, installations, facilities and systems of relevant buildings.
- Management of all service contracts.
- Undertake regular building inspection reports.
- Attend to incidents.
- Contractor inductions.
- Ensure all work carried out onsite is in accordance with OH&S Regulations.
- Review all building systems to maintain efficient energy consumption.
- Attend to any emergency works required after normal hours.
Based in the Mandurah area some travel within the region will be required.
About you
Skills and qualities we are seeking in candidates are:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- The skill and ability to build working relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated and mature minded.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards, Building Codes and Occupational Health and Safety legislation,
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work to strict deadlines.
