About the Role
First impressions count! As the Facility Clerical Officer, you will be the first face seen on arrival and the last on departure, so a friendly smile and professional manner are all important.
In this role, you will provide administrative and clerical support to the Manager of the home. This is a great role for someone who lives in the Penrith area and wants to work close to home.
Some specific responsibilities could include:
- Greeting and assisting visitors with the check-in process
- Taking and directing phone enquiries
- Distributing and collecting information including forms, sending emails, assisting with staff enquiries and engaging in day-to-day replacement of staff if required
- General budget management, coding of invoices, receipting monies and attending to petty cash reconciliation
- Creating and maintaining files
- Handling any other appropriate duties as requested
About You
- You love helping people and have great customer service skills
- You have at least 5 years of experience in an administrative/clerical position and possess great time management and multi-tasking skills
- You work well independently, as well as part of a team
- Microsoft Office programs are easy for you to navigate
- If you don't have a current police check, you're happy to obtain one
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge of Care System Rostering payroll system
- Previous experience in an Aged Care environment
