Facility Manager

Full-time fixed term contract - 6 months 

Are you a passionate and experienced leader looking to make a real difference in the lives of older Australians? We're seeking a highly motivated Facility Manager to join our innovative and caring team at our 115-bed residential aged care facility in Strathfield. We are looking for a passionate and experienced manager to lead our team and help us to continue to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the facility
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including staff management, budgeting, and quality assurance
• Ensure that the facility meets all regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including residents, families, staff, and the community
• Demonstrated understanding of aged care legislation and compliance requirements.
• A commitment to providing high-quality care and a resident-centred approach.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a management role 
• Compassion for the ageing population
• Registration with AHPRA
• Ability to lead and support a multi-disciplinary team 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience managing day to day clinical issues
• Good knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Current Police Check
• Working Rights in Australia
