Qualifications & experience
- Welding competency is essential.
- Forklift License essential.
- Vast mechanical maintenance experience.
- General knowledge on equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work with variety of hand and power tools efficiently and safety.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Strong safety focus.
- Available to attend call outs, as required.
- Available to work overtime, when required.
- Truck License (MR) preferable but not essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Machinery Maintenance.
- Welding.
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance, as required.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair various site equipment.
- Install new equipment and decommission old, as and when required.
- Support equipment overhaul and refurbishment projects.
