To support our growth and continue our tradition of excellence, we're seeking an experienced Factory Manager with a solid background in metal fabrication and Manufacturing Operations.
Role Overview:
The Factory Manager will lead our manufacturing team, ensuring efficient production processes, timely completion of projects, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role is pivotal in managing our metal fabrication projects, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Excellence: Oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring projects are scheduled efficiently and completed within budget and timeline.
- Metal Fabrication Expertise: Utilise in-depth knowledge of metal fabrication to oversee project execution, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Project Management: Effectively manage labor, schedule projects into the manufacturing line, and ensure all projects align with client specifications and quality expectations.
- Safety Leadership: Champion factory safety, conduct regular toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Operational Efficiency: Maintain a clean and organized factory floor, optimizing space and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Technical Proficiency: Read and interpret simple 2D drawings to accurately execute fabrication projects.
- Proven experience in factory management, specifically within the metal fabrication and manufacturing industry.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety standards and a commitment to maintaining a safe, productive workplace.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Relevant qualifications in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
