Form of workMort & Co is a leading Agriculture business with a rich history of growth and expansion. Our commitment to being leaders in the agriculture sector has seen the launch of our organic fertiliser facility, based at our Grassdale Feedlot located near Dalby on Queensland’s Darling Downs.
This unique organic fertiliser facility employs innovative technology to produce environmentally friendly, carbon-based fertilisers.
It is in a state-of-the-art facility we produce high produce high quality and consistent fertiliser products and offers supplies to commercial and domestic markets.
Having proven the demand for these products, we are now looking to expand our operations to a continuous 24-hour production.
About the role
Previous experience with plant and farming machinery, including tractors, loaders and forklift operation is preferred but not essential. However, you will need to have the ability to understand manufacturing processes, including:
- Operating machinery and equipment (Current tickets and licenses to would be highly regarded otherwise we will teach you through our Verification of Competency training program).
- Plant maintenance and hygiene upkeep.
- Ensuring daily prestart and daily production records are up to date and accurate.
- Active involvement in reducing risks and hazards, and improving quality.
- General housekeeping and site duties.
This opportunity will come with all training and development required to be successful in the role.
We are seeking team members to join our newly expanded 24/7 shifts, working on a rotating 12-hour shift.
