Form of workAn exciting opportunity has become available to join a progressive company in the rapidly growing water industry as a workshop assistant or machine operator within our plastic fabrication / manufacturing team.
West Coast Poly Pty Ltd is a well-established manufacturing company based in Canning Vale WA. We produce high-quality, long-lasting roto-moulded polyethylene products for liquid storage systems supplying the rural, urban and industrial /mining sectors.
The successful candidate will;
- Report directly to the production manager
- Be responsible for the safe operation of roto-moulding machinery
- Work well within a team environment and communicate effectively and efficiently
- Be hands on and able to undertake manual tasks including de-moulding of products and trims, machine maintenance where required, safe handling of raw materials and fitting out duties as required.
- Have excellent time management skills
- Follow strict QA protocol to meet company ISO9001 Standards
- Follow the companies OH&S policies/procedures, and Safe Operating Procedures
- Be physically fit and able to work within a high temperature environment due to the nature of the manufacturing sheds and equipment used.
- Undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and Drug and Alcohol test
- Hold a current valid driver’s license. A current forklift licence is highly regarded
This position is Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday work depending on production requirements. Working on early morning/late afternoon shift work around 50 hours a week.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
