Women’s Legal Service QLD is one of the state’s largest community legal services with over 70 permanent employees and circa 200 volunteers who passionately support everything the organisation stands for.
Your New Role
Working alongside some of the most passionate and talented female lawyers, you will be responsible for undertaking direct client services to WLSQ clients in family law, domestic violence and child protection, working with a team of paralegals and solicitors as part of the Brisbane Case Work Team.
Your experience working in legal centres will be of great value as you advocate for your clients by appearing and representing your clients in court.
Note: There are multiple positions available within this team in their Caboolture, Annerley, Gold Coast and Ipswich offices

- At least 3-5 years PAE with a background in family law (experience in family law and domestic violence is a requirement);
- Experience in Community Legal Centres will be highly favoured;
- Ability to communicate effectively and work sensitively with clients from diverse backgrounds;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and well-developed relationship management skills.
