Role;
Based in South-Western Sydney, I'm looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Case Manager to provide intensive case management services to high risk families at risk of entering the child protection system.
You'll deliver a range of evidence based, trauma informed and culturally competent services to prevent unnecessary entry of children & young people into OOHC. Also you'll provide intensive case management services to families already in the child protection system who have been identified as eligible for family restoration.
Your caseload will be low, giving you the ability to increase home visits and provide solid child focused and goal oriented services and achieve the best possible outcomes for your families.
Criteria;
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Welfare or a related discipline.
- 2+ years casework or clinical experience with at risk children and families.
- Highly skilled in child protection interventions
- Demonstrated ability to engage families in crisis
- Demonstrated experience using a variety of evidence based intervention strategies
- Demonstrated experience supporting Aboriginal families using culturally safe and sensitive interventions.
- Full-time hours
- 12 month contract
- Fluency in a community language and/or strong connections to diverse culture is highly desired.
- Current NSW drivers licence required.
- A successful NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) and satisfactory police check is required prior to starting in this role
- You must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
