This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced Family Violence Practitioner to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV).

The role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will work in a collaborative manner with the Sunshine Family Violence (FV) team and with external partners to deliver high quality services including Men’s Behaviour Change Programs (MBCP), post MBCP, Family Safety Contact work, Victim/Survivor Group facilitation and Men’s Case Management. This will include assessing clients’ suitability for FV Programs, conducting comprehensive risk assessments and risk management of participants. You will also deliver case management and family safety support including referrals to relevant services, where required.
This role is located at our Sunshine Family Relationship centre and is permanent, part-time, working four (4) days per week with one evening shift required per week.
About you
- Degree in social work, or a related social science discipline.
- Experience in provision of high-quality risk assessments of individuals and families.
- An understanding of the gendered nature of Family Violence and the ability to articulate a practise framework including engagement and assessment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A current Victorian driver’s licence is required.
- Satisfactory National Police Check, current Working with Children check and International Police Check (if applicable).

The base salary range is $92k-$99k (pro-rata) per annum.
