Farm & Livestock Hand - Full Time

We are currently seeking a Farm & Livestock Hand to join our cattle and grazing operations on a Full-Time Basis. Occasional weekend work is required.

About the role:

As Farm & Livestock Hand, your day-to-day duties will include, but not limited to:

• Mustering of cattle on horseback;
• Weighing of cattle;
• Fencing maintenance; and
• Spraying of weeds;

Skills and Attributes required to be successful:

• Horsemanship skills in a cattle environment including grazing and mustering;
• Experience with cattle including loading and unloading;
• Skills in stock handling work; loading, unloading, yarding and tagging;
• Knowledge and experience in farm work including:
• Repairing of fencing
• General maintenance
• Loader experience preferred but not essential;
• An understanding and commitment to animal welfare.
• Current Valid Driver’s Licence is essential;
• HR License is preferred but  not essential;
• A physical ability to maintain the strenuous activities involved in this role;
• Good organisational and time management skills;
• Q-Fever vaccination is mandatory; and
• A commitment to safe work practices.
