This family farming enterprise owns and operates farms in the Pingelly local area out of Narrogin in Western Australia and has permanent a position available for a Farm Machinery Operator or WorkingFarm 2IC.
After familiarising yourself with the farm, you will routinely operate cropping and hay machinery, participate in occasional sheep feeding work and will carry out mechanical, workshop and general farm maintenance. And if starting as Working Farm 2IC, you will also supervise farm workers.
The position is best suited to a worker who wants to settle in on a family owned, expanding farming enterprise where they can progress their career towards a Working Farm management role, who bring a strong work ethic, adaptability, an abundance of positive energy and mutual respect. And applicants who already have an open MC licence or self-propelled spraying experience and a Chemcert can expect to be generously rewarded on arrival.
During the growing season, the farm team works Monday to Friday, adding Saturday during peak periods with every Sunday off. The position comes with a package including a salary, well maintained accommodation, and a work utility. A school bus runs to local primary and high schools and pets are welcome.
