We're currently seeking a Casual Retail Store Assistant to join our team at our Burleigh Heads location.
About the role:
As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining the store's appearance, and supporting sales initiatives. You will work closely with the store manager to ensure the store's smooth operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers who enter the store
- Assist customers with finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Maintain the store's appearance by organising and restocking merchandise, cleaning displays and shelves, and ensuring the store is presentable
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
- Support sales initiatives, such as promotions and events, to drive store traffic and sales
- Communicate with the store manager regarding inventory levels, customer feedback, and any issues or concerns
- Attend and participate in training and development opportunities provided by the company
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- 1+ years of experience in a fashion retail environment essential
- Available to work casual shifts throughout the week, includingweekends
- Available throughout November/December
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and eagerness to take on new challenges
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and school holidays
