We have been farming the Clifton district since 1933, and today we employ over 120 staff across multiple sites located in the Clifton, Leyburn and Yelarbon areas.

Our Feed Mill is situated 10kms north of Leyburn, approximately 45 minutes from Toowoomba and Warwick.

The Mill manufactures all of Cefn's feed requirements, from our automated 10 T/hr Skiold pellet mill. In general, our small, dedicated team work 3 shifts in a day, those being - Start-up (5am-1:30pm), Cleaning (10am-6:30pm) and Late (2:00pm - 10:30pm). Staff rotate through these shifts on a 3 weekly basis.  Due to the small team the role is quite varied, from receiving and sampling of raw ingredients, to scheduling of production runs, computer operations, refilling supply bins, forklift operation, cleaning and basic maintenance.

The following attributes and skills will allow you to succeed in this role

• Good communication skills,
• Intermediate computer knowledge,
• Logical thinking and ability to follow systems,
• Ability to work well in a small team environment and unsupervised,
• Forklift ticket, or willingness to obtain one

Experience in a similar role is not essential, but would be viewed favourably.
