The role:
You will play an integral role within the business be responsible for the overall care and management of cattle within the feedlot.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment where you can grow your skills and make a significant impact.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Operating loaders to carry out tasks within the feedlot.
- Undertaking pre-start inspections of all machinery prior to operation.
- Reporting mechanical faults to the Supervisor.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the feedlot.
- Promoting a safe work environment.
- Assisting with record-keeping and inventory management.
Who we are looking for:
- You have experience in feedlot operations or similar agricultural roles.
- You have a strong understanding of cattle behaviour and welfare.
- You can operate and maintain farm machinery.
- You have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- You have commitment to safety and quality standards.
