About Koojan Downs Feeding Facility:
Koojan Downs feeding facility is located 30kms from Moora and 160kms north of Perth. Koojan Downs is part of the integrated beef supply chain for Harvest Road. This integrated beef supply chain ranges from north to southwest of Western Australia and is based on best-practice ecological planning and animal welfare management.
You will have opportunities to develop your current skills and be supported with ongoing training.
The Opportunity:
We have exciting opportunities for permanent, full-time Feedmill Hands to support in the production and distribution of sustainable stock feed across the feeding facility including the operating of feed trucks to complete daily feeding of cattle.
Reporting to the Feedmill Manager this opportunity will suit a self-motivated person who is hands on and is passionate about the agriculture industry. You will have a strong work ethic and be willing to learn and contribute to the team.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A current manual driver’s licence and own transport.
- Strong focus on safety, animal welfare and bio-security standards.
- Initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekend work.
- Physically fit to meet the inherent requirements of the role, including manual handling tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
- Moderate computer skills.
- Ability to carry out instructions.
