About Koojan Downs Feeding Facility:
Koojan Downs feeding facility is located 30kms from Moora and 160kms north of Perth. Koojan Downs is part of the integrated beef supply chain for Harvest Road. This integrated beef supply chain ranges from north to southwest of Western Australia and is based on best-practice ecological planning and animal welfare management.
You will have opportunities to develop your current skills and supported with ongoing training.
The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full-time Feedmill Hand to support in the production and distribution of sustainable stock feed across the feeding facility including the operating of feed trucks to complete daily feeding of cattle.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Strong focus on safety, animal welfare and bio-security standards.
- Initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekend work.
- Physically fit to meet the inherent requirements of the role, including manual handling tasks.
- A current driver’s licence.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
- Moderate computer skills.
- Ability to carry out instructions.
