Must reside close to (Macarthur region)
Requirements:
- Must have qualifications and experience with tracheostomy care and Peg feeding. (Additionally, the candidate must possess a bubbly, energetic personality and a good sense of humor.)
- Have completed Infection Control module
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Preferred Qualifications (but not mandatory)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- NDIS Orientation Module
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Must have an Australian Driver License
- At least 2 years of experience as a Support Worker
- Must be compatible with participant and reside close to her (Macarthur region)
- Must own car and have car insurance
Job Description:
- Provide personal care, domestic assistance, and support with daily activities.
- Assist with recreational activities, social events, and community outings to foster social inclusion.
- Work with participants to identify strengths, interests, and goals, boosting self-esteem and confidence.
- Keep accurate records of participant progress, activities, and notable incidents or concerns.
- NOTE: Female participant has complex needs, is immobile, has Cerebral Palsy, has a tracheotomy and is non verbal, with a great sense of humour.
