This organization are dedicated to customer-centric innovation and strong partnerships, in networks, devices and applications.  The Field Engineering team is part of System Integration & a multi-disciplined projects team, responsible for guiding the technical implementation of government and commercial communications system solutions which delivers complex mission critical voice and data systems.

Role:

• Implementation of communication system solutions and services.
• Provide technical support for Solution Staging
• Installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of MSI and 3rd party solutions (with support from supplier/vendor)
• Responsible for identifying, investigating and troubleshooting of technical issues
• Field deployment and day-to-day activities: Deploying, Configuring, commissioning, Testing and troubleshooting systems and solutions.
• Communications - Attend customer meetings, status updates, provide project reporting.
• Provide on-site or remote support to the customers and partners
• Conduct technical implementation assessments directly with end users and project team.

  
Job Requirements:

• Anyone with a Degree in Mechatronics, Bachelor of engineering, Electrical engineering or has been an electrician would be well regarded.
• Background in Radio (LMR) OR Networking – One of these is essential 
• The role requires some (planned) Travel, so a Driving license is preferred
• P25 Standards – Essential. DMR Standards – advantage
• Experience with RF Combining & RD Antennas – advantage
• RF Cabling – advantage
• Networking – Routers & Switches (troubleshoot, cable, install & program)
• Install devices – Routers, Switches, Radios & Servers (Windows/Linux)
