Field Sales Engineer, Victoria (North/West) & Tasmania Job Purpose: Develop Pepperl+Fuchs brand and key product awareness
Develop an aggressive market presence Establish and maintain sound relationships with key and strategic customers Major Accountabilities:
Develop and build new business, as well as maintain strong relationship with key / strategic customers in assigned regions Maintain existing customer whilst expanding into new sales areas and developing new customers Identify new market opportunities and determine the most effective and suitable methods of converting those opportunities to sales
Ensure CRM systems are updated with activities and opportunities in accordance with Company expectations Provide reliable and timely activity information through the reporting, monitoring and analysis of trends Maintain effective and efficient customer service support using internals Sales Admin team along with Inter-Company support structures
Achieve and where possible exceed agreed sales targets in accordance with annual Budget projections Develop, maintain and nurture viable sales channel and partners Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Electronic & Sales or Trade qualified with proven sales experience Sound knowledge of the Victorian industrial market and demonstrated successful sales achievements to date Sales oriented and results driven with a drive for business development; must possess a “Hunter” mindset
Background in sensors or factory / process automation highly regarded Self-motivated individual, relationship builder, hands-on and leads by example A communicator who is flexible, adaptable and confident
Positive, energetic and motivated to achieve Autonomous and Self leadership style important Willingness to periodically travel to assigned region as per business needs
