Job description

As a Field Sampling Technician at TasWater your day will involve driving around our state, working outdoors often on rough terrain, in a hands-on role, responsible for testing and sampling of water and wastewater in accordance with TasWater and regulatory requirements.  
You will learn how to maintain sampling stocks and equipment including instrumentation calibration to ensure sampling quality and continuous improvement.    

In this you will see the significant impact your work has on the wellbeing of the communities and pristine ecosystems of Tasmania.

 Pay and Flexibility Details

This is a part-time position that attracts an hourly rate of $32.44 an hour, upon commencement and until successful completion of probation. The working days will be either 2 days of Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 7:45am to 4.15pm from our Self’s Point Lab, Moonah and will be provided with a mobile phone and an iPad. Since this is a field position, to be successful, applicants need to undergo medical checks prior to commencement.
