We are currently seeking Field Service Engineer to join our HBS Vic team in our Abbotsford office.  Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for servicing customer sites, maximising customer satisfaction and minimising customer site downtime by providing exceptional technical excellence. You will identity opportunities for improvements of processes and systems, effectively manage sub-contractors and ensure accurate financial forecasting and cost controls.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (as per trade expertise). The configuration and programming of HVAC, CCTV, Access Control, Security, and Third-Party Systems.

·         Diagnosing faults and repairs on HVAC, CCTV, Access Control, Security, and third-party Systems.

·         Roll out, deployment and ongoing support of OBS/Connected Services technologies

·         Software load and configuration of EBI Systems and other systems, as required.

·         Preparing accurate monthly forecasts and ensuring effective financial control according to agreed budgets and plans.

·         Leading Small to Medium project installations including managing subcontractors, financial control and ordering of parts/materials as required.

·         Compliance with company and site safety and health policies, procedures and expectations which includes ensuring the team’s Playbook activities are completed each month.

·         Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by Manager.

  • Undertake all technical training (as required) including ICT/Cyber, HVAC and Security. 

Key Experience & Capabilities: 

·         NV 1 or ability to hold/Maintain Government security clearance is required

·         You must obtain/maintain an appropriate security clearance for your customer sites

·         Min. 5yrs engineering Industry experience / background – BMS / HVAC / Security / control systems

·         Intermediate to High computer skills / competency

·         Strong technical skills and broad exposure to technical issues

·         Ability to work in a matrix and dynamic environment with a mix of infrastructure, equipment and systems and diverse customer groups

·         Project management experience (desirable)

·         ICT & Networking skills and knowledge of Cyber Security (desirable)
