Delivering a superior service experience to ensure customer satisfaction and building on going relationships. Reporting to the Field Service Manager and this position is based in Notting Hill, Australia.Your responsibilities
- Performing service tasks including – Preventative Maintenance, On site breakdown repairs (both mechanical and electrical), Remote analysis of customer issues, Coding and Simulation work on a range of ABB Robotic products
- Contributing to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customers’ expectation. Building and maintaining good relationships with customers. Identifying new sales opportunities and communicating with our internal sales staff
- Co-ordinating, preparing and ensuring all materials, parts and equipment are available at the appropriate time to deliver a quality Service activity.
- Preparing all documentation and reporting to be signed by the customer representative on completion of work. Reporting and following ups to be completed in a timely manner.
- Troubleshooting various ABB products/customer issues, both on and off site, at different levels of complexity with a degree of urgency, understanding and tenacity.
- Providing input to the team to improve operational activities and customer service.
- Applying safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reporting unsafe practices and incidents.
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualification in the same or similar field with more than 5 years Trade experience.
- Holding current Australian Driver License.
- A hands-on/practical Tertiary Engineering Graduate in a relevant field.
- Experience in a Field Service Engineer role would be advantageous
