Responsibilities include technical support, troubleshooting, and pre/post-sales assistance. While experience in the industry is beneficial, a passion for excellence is our primary requirement. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct goods inspection: calibration, and quality control processes in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and all other relevant regulations as well as preventative maintenance
- Provide complete and professional technical support to all customers
- Provide remote support and troubleshoot technical problems via telephone & onsite which will require regular travel throughout NSW and occasionally interstate.
- Complete field repairs and delegate service tasks to technical contractors when required
- Monitor the progress of all ongoing Service Calls and document all cases on the CRM/ERP
- Prepare service reports and maintain a service history for all devices
- Continuously add-to and improve on technical, quality, and logistics processes and resources
- Assist with the management/upkeep the service department and ensure all tools/spare parts are available and in good working order
- Working closely with Operations Departments (inventory and logistics)
- Provide support to the Sales, Marketing, and Clinical departments and be flexible to meet the changing requirements of the business
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Highly motivated and positive attitude with a high degree of professionalism and initiative
- Experience testing, troubleshooting, and repairing devices (experience with medical devices would be highly regarded)
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking
- High level of attention to detail and customer centric
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of basic physics and electrical concepts
- Reliable motor vehicle
- Valid unrestricted Australian Driver’s License
- Certificate and/or higher in a technical engineering discipline
