You will be trained in the calibration, service and repair of pathology equipment at hospitals and labs. Equipment includes all makes and models of microscopes, centrifuges and balances.
The Role
Field Service Engineer based in the Sydney Region, with all work carried out on site. Mainly working in hospitals, private labs and collection centres.
Work trips around NSW for 3 to 5 days, once or twice a month.
All work Monday to Friday, no weekends.
Normally work overtime on away trips, and not required for local jobs.

Job Requirements
3 Years Experience as a Field Technician (Any Field)
Instrumentation Certificate III or electrical equivalent.
Understanding of mechanincal and electrical systems.
Ability to work independantly and as a team.
Good eyesight for working on small instrumentation.
Self Motivated.
Willingness to continue learning and training on a large number of instruments and makes and models.
Problem solving ability and can resolve issues.
Use phone and laptop to enter data.
Communicate to doctors and lab managers.

Current Drivers Licence and Driving Experience
Preferences
Experience in service of microscopes, centrifuges or balances.
Experience working in hospitals and laboratories.
