HARDI Australia is currently seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Field Service Technicianto its CAVAN based Service team.
Reporting to the National Service Manager, this is a full-time on-site role located in Adelaide, SA.
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HARDI equipment in the field or workshop. You will work closely with our customers to troubleshoot any issues and ensure that their equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Qualifications / Key Skills
- Experience in the agricultural or machinery industry
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills with experience in diagnosing faults and repairing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients
- Current driver's license with a safe driving record
- A trade qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of safety requirements and regulations
The Work Environment
Your work environment will be varied. You will have the opportunity to travel within SA and eventually nationally. Although primarily based at our Cavan site, applicants must have the freedom to travel as dictated by workflow.
Applicants should note that they will need to learn and work within the expectations of HARDI’s valued farming customer base. This can mean that at times it is necessary to work outside of customary working hours (including weekends). Applicants will be expected to be sufficiently flexible to meet this requirement.
