Position Overview
The Field Service Technician provides our customers with routine service and aftermarket support on the entire Genie range throughout South East Queensland and other regions as required.
Scheduled servicing, warranty and breakdown repairs of our customers equipment are key aspects of this role. This includes but is not limited to Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) warranty repair, workshop-based repairs and ad-hoc support to our pre-delivery process.

Responsibilities
- Carry out, service, repair and and maintenance of Genie equipment.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted on time and accurately.
- Use hazard identification tools and systems to ensure safe work practices are used and work areas are hazard free.
- Contribute to decisions on continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Maintenance report of machinery daily as directed.
- Ensure that repairs and overhauls are completed to Genie Industry Standards, as well as following all company policies and safety guidelines.
Skills and Experience
- Trade Qualification – in a mechanical field
- Knowledge of Elevated Work Platforms (desirable not essential)
- The ability to perform troubleshooting and repair work on machinery.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.
- Confident to problem solve and strong communication skills.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
