Senior Security Service Technician

.About the companyA privately owned company providing the latest technology solutions to developers and building owners covering electronic security and smart home automation solutions, essential energy services and fibre networks for new builds and existing properties.About the roleYou will be an adaptable Service Technician with 5+ years' experience in the electronic security industry. You will be responsible for managing and delivering the service function throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Our client's office is based in Brisbane but the role will be required to commission and finalise jobs on-site with some supervision of the Tech installation team.Key Responsibilities for the role

• Programming and commissioning CCTV surveillance, Access Control and Intercom systems.
• Working closely with the project management & Service team to ensure successful service delivery.
• Interpret floor plans, schematics and product manuals where required.
• Prevent, de-escalate and resolve site issues.
• Rough-in & cabling where required.
• Fit off of equipment (eg handsets, card readers, cameras, Rex Buttons).

Skills & experience

• Experience with access control, CCTV surveillance and intercom systems
• High quality of workmanship - someone who takes pride in their work
• Customer centric with excellent communication skills
• Valid security licence
• Cablers' licence (highly regarded)
• Experience with ICN networks (highly regarded)
