Our client, a leading employer in the essential services industry, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team. This role provides a unique opportunity for hands-on work in the field, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of heavy equipment and vehicles.
As a Field Service Technician your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in heavy equipment and vehicles at client sites.
- Providing comprehensive breakdown and routine servicing in the field.
- Completing and submitting detailed job reports.
- Delivering excellent customer service on-site.
- Managing OH&S safety requirements during Field Service operations.
- Collaborating with team members on larger jobs as required.
- Afternoon shift from Monday to Friday.
- Full-service vehicle provided for field operations.

- Exposure to a diverse range of equipment and machinery in the essential services industry.
- Experience working on heavy vehicles and/or materials handling machinery, including crushers and compactors.
- Trade qualification such as Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, Diesel Mechanic, or Auto-Electrician, or significant demonstrable experience.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with team members.
- Clean driver's license – HR license is desirable (or willingness to obtain).
- Physical fitness and ability to carry out basic manual handling as required.
- Work rights to live and work in Australia.
