Field Tech / Quality Assistant

Protech is a leading supplier of trades, asphalt, and construction workers in the Northern Territory. Currently, we are seeking a skilled and dependable Field Technician to assist our highly reputable Asphalt client.
We offer a competitive pay rate along with overtime penalty rates,and place the highest priority on safety by ensuring that all of our work sites adhere to the most stringent safety standards.

Overview
The Field Tech will work alongside the Engineer to review and monitor all material requirements, ensure all policies and procedures are in place and verify all compliance on site.
Other office and yard duties will be managed and assigned at the discretion of the reporting manager.

Key responsibilities

• Previous experience in a support role in the construction, civil or transport / logistics industry desirable
• High attention to detail and demonstrated time management skills
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and interface effectively with individuals and various levels
• Provide administrative support to the engineering team with respect to document control and issuing of engineering documents and drawings within agreed deadlines
• Provide quality customer interactions where required and promote the company's corporate brand
• Previous knowledge of compliance with legislative requirements against all elements of Chain of Responsibility advantageous

The Right Person
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar position
• Strong experience using MS Office. Specifically using Outlook, Excel, and Word
• The ability to demonstrate a strong safety focus
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of initiative and determination to achieve goals and targets.
• Able to multi-task with strong maths ability, organisational skills, ability to prioritise when required

To be considered for this role you MUST have the following
• Current drivers' licence and own transport
• Construction White Card
