3D Safety Services, a market leader in the areas of Compliance Management, Workplace Health and Safety and industry specific Safety Training. We are safety managers for high-risk processes with over 25 years’ experience working with industries including mining, infrastructure, utilities, and construction.

Our focus is to assist our clients with compliance requirements around equipment safety in the workplace.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Field Technician to join our team in the Newcastle or Central Coast area, NSW. As part of a small specialised team, you will have the opportunity to develop new skills in a range of technical areas whilst working in the field and on clients’ sites.

The Role:

• Permanent, full-time role with ongoing training and development.
• Assisting clients with workshop equipment inspections in accordance with standard working procedures and Australian Standard guidelines.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through a high level of customer support.
• Report writing and record keeping.
• Replacement Parts and Consumables sales.
• This role will be based out of Newcastle or the Central Coast and at times will involve some regional travel.

To be successful you will have:

• Trade qualification is essential.
• You will have strong written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
• You are self-motivated and can work independently.
• You have a strong interest in workplace safety or related fields.
• Current C class driver’s licence.
• Customer site service experience.

Previous experience in the following will be highly regarded but not essential:

• Welding processes and related consumables.
• Gas equipment related to Welding, Laboratories and Industrial applications.
• Gas pipeline installation and servicing.
• Hazard management and reporting.
• Product servicing and sales.
