We service a broad range of habitats across South Australia to deliver quality vegetation management solutions.Role Description:This is a full-time casual position, on ground role for a Field Technician located in the Adelaide Hills. As a Field Technician you will be responsible for performing various weed control operations, fire mitigation works and native vegetation management. This includes working as part of a team to effectively complete conservation outcomes for a range of clients from Government through to Private.Initially there is a probation period of 3 months paid at $25.00/hourFollowing successful completion of the probation period the hourly rate increases to $27.00/hour as a base rate, with opportunity for this to increase with experience and also over time.Back 2 Bush operates Monday to Friday and work an 8-hour day, hours can be flexible and we can accommodate study timetables and/or family commitments.Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Field Technician or related role.
- Strong technical skills: Knowledge of weed control techniques, Native plant and weed identification skills, Herbicide usage, Brush cutting experience
- Excellent work ethic and the ability to work within a team.
- Good communication skills and customer liaison skills.
- Valid Drivers' licence and willingness to travel.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or training in Land Conservation management, horticulture or similar.
