About the roleWe are thrilled to announce that we are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Techniciansto join our esteemed team. Based in one of our stunning offices in Windsor, Brisbane, this position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.
As a Field Technician, working on a friendly roster, you will have the privilege of representing our company at various client sites across the Australasia region. In this role, you will provide exceptional training, technical expertise, maintenance and repairs, and support for GroundProbe's cutting-edge products. Your contributions will have a global impact, as you work in both surface and underground mining environments.
At GroundProbe, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the mining industry. As a Field Technician, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products and making a real difference in the field.
What you will be doing- Monitor and present GroundProbe’s products data;
- Provide on-site training and technical support to Customers;
- Maintain GroundProbe’s products minimising downtime and meeting Customer needs;
- Perform technical support work on GroundProbe technologies at remote sites and from GroundProbe’s office.
- Representing the company to build a good relationship with the customer.
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant certifications and experience in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronic discipline(s);
- Good understanding with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Extensive relevant technical work experience in a customer service based organisation;
- Experience in electronics, radar, telecommunications or a related field;
- Ability to train individuals and small groups;
- Mechanical knowledge is desirable;
- Mining environment/remote location experience is desirable.
