About us
The Aurenne Group is a private company who acquired the historic Mt Ida - Bottle Creek gold field, 80 km west of Menzies in 2019.
The Mt. Ida area boasts two greenstone sheers carrying gold: the western Mt. Ida sheer and the Ballard Sheer to the east. The tenements held by the company surround a granite dome to the north that has potential for significant lithium discovery in the future too.
As a private company our family owners recognise the most important building block to success lies in the strength of the ‘Team’. Building one that shares the Group’s vision to be different in paramount. Sure, the mining industry is strong in Western Australia – but finding the right people fit is no easy task.
At Aurenne we strive to build a quality operation that is ‘special’ where being part of the ‘Team’ is an important component of the work experience. Accordingly, we provide our Team with the tools they need to succeed - whether it be ‘new equipment for new projects’, or building an airstrip to facilitate easy site access, or even our new Forest Cabin Village at Mt. Ida which is truly second to none.
