About the role:
The Laboratory team is currently seeking a Metallurgy Technician to join them on a 7 on, 7 off Roster based at the Roy Hill Mine. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe collection and processing of metallurgical samples from the process plant
Duties:
- Sample collection from sample stations and live streams within the Processing Plant
- Accurate labelling, recording and data entry for all samples obtained
- Registration of samples into the Automated Laboratory Facility
- Assist with maintenance of laboratory and associated equipment
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience as a metallurgical technician or laboratory technician
- Knowledge of sample collection and processing
- Experience working in a remote environment
- C Class WA Drivers Licence
