About The Role
We have multiple opportunities available for Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our project based in Weipa, Far North Queensland. Working on a roster cycle of your choice (14/7 or 14/14), you will provide workshop support, schedule, and provide preventative and routine maintenance, and attend breakdowns as required on a variety of our heavy plant and equipment in our fleet.
About You
You are an energetic motivated individual who will automatically take the challenge of a high energy fast paced field and workshop fleet support role. You understand that safety and quality is at the forefront of what we do to support our customers and reduce downtime. You are a great communicator and work hard to be part of the team. You have a solid work ethic, along with the ability to plan and prioritise your daily tasks.
To be part of the team you will require:
- Appropriate mechanical vocational trade qualification (AUR or MEM);
- Current Driver’s License (HR Desirable)
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain if required)
- Ability to pass a full medical, drug and alcohol test
- Full work rights in Australia
- Experience with CAT equipment and systems, with sound ability in CAT SIS and ET
- The ability to work on remote sites on a roster basis
