About the role 

Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, this role would suit someone interested in further developing their career within the Hospitality industry in a FIFO role, where you will receive extensive support from the head office team as well as our various other departments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the Food Safety QA Manager, Food Safety Advisor, Executive Chef to develop, coordinate and monitor Food Safety compliance.
  • Assist Village Management with kitchen audits/checks.
  • Provide support and training to line managers, supervisors and workers regarding their role and responsibilities for Food Safety.
  • Coordinate and maintain the implementation, maintenance, and review of the HSQE Management System (IMS) on site.
  • Ensure reporting required for weekly/monthly HSQE reports.
  • Provide the lead for all ICAM investigations.
  • Assist and participate in pre-start/toolbox meetings
  • To facilitate and partake in random and programmed audits of the Village.
  • Monitor compliance to QA documentation.
  • Co-ordinate, assist and perform risk assessments.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
  • Cert IV Workplace Trainer & Assessor is desirable but not essential 
  • Able to accurately compile and report statistical information
  • Valid manual driver’s license 
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Be able to pass applicable medical & pre-employment testing
  • 1-2 years Previous HSEQ experience, preferably with exposure to the resources or facilities management sector
  • Experience in completing Incident Investigation & Improvement Actions
  • Reviewing & Conducting Risk Analysis for tasks and equipment
  • Maintain Site Safety and Management systems
  • Effectively conduct and supervise Site Safety Audits & inspections
  • Maintain compliance with Legislation, Company & Client WHS requirements
