About the Roles:
We now have the opportunity for several casual vegetation workers who possess a variety of skills to join our growing team working on our established vegetation contracts across Australia.
Successful applicants MUST be able to work away on FIFO or DIDO contracts on 19/9 swings.
- Tree Work (Climbers/EWP Operators/Chipper Operators/Ground crew)
- Machine Operators (skid steer/excavator/mulcher/Jarraff/Skytrim)
- Herbicide Application
Skills & Qualifications:
These roles would see successful candidates having some or all the below listed skills or qualifications.
- General Construction Safety White Card – ESSENTIAL
- ESI – Electrical Safety Rules – ESSENTIAL
- Drivers licence - ESSENTIAL
- Trained in the Use of Chainsaws and associated equipment
- Heavy Vehicle Truck licence (HR or MR) – Highly Regarded
- EWP licence – ESSENTIAL
- Chemical Accreditation Highly Regarded
Applicants will have current qualifications (as above) to be able to work on Electrical Distribution or Transmission Networks, along with previous industry experience. Any additional training required can be provided.
About you:
- Highly safety conscious
- Highly motivated, with a positive attitude & able to work as part of a team
- Confident around machinery and willing to undertake all roles in a tree crew including Climbing, Chipper Operation, Ground clearing, or cutting from an EWP
- Experience and skills in grounds maintenance and associated plant and equipment, including excavators & skid steers, tractors/slashers
- Ability to pass any pre-employment physical, drug, and alcohol testing and medical
- Ability to coordinate planned travel logistics (airports, flights etc)
