Details: ACT NoWaste is unique in recycling and waste management in Australia: we work across both state/territory and local government-level functions, which provides opportunities to deliver sustainable services to the ACT community and influence and contribute efforts to improve waste management outcomes at local, regional, and national levels.
The Finance and Administrative Officer will be part of a small team, working under general direction of the Business Operations Officer. The ideal candidate will be someone who can prioritise their own work, monitor their own workflow within the area of responsibility, develop work practices, have sound communication and negotiations skills.
Eligibility/Other requirements:
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite package including outlook, word and excel.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate and liaise with stakeholders.
- Experience with Salesforce and the ACT Government Finance systems would be highly regarded.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, equivalent, relevant industry experience.
