About the Role
You will support all aspects of project planning, development and implementation for a range of programs and projects; including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project-related activities, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope in line with the departmental framework.
Duties
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and support project deliverables to be delivered.
- Monitor and evaluate all aspects of program and project implementation, including risk and contingency management to identify and address issues, assess project progress and effectiveness, and achieve project outcomes.
- Ensure all documentation and communication is appropriately maintained and ensure record keeping is accurate and consistent with relevant guidance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment which is fast paced and dynamic.
- Flexibility and capacity to provide support wherever required in an environment where there is a high workload and surge capacity is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
What's on offer
The successful candidate will notionally be offered a 12-month hourly rate contract at the APS5 level. Locations across Australia will be considered.
As this role is with the Federal Government, only Australian citizens that hold a current baseline security clearance (at minimum) will be considered for this vacancy.
