What we do.

Seimosei supports a range of participants with different needs. We believe in person-based support as each individual is different. 

The Finance and Payroll Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions and Payroll activities within the organisation. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a solid understanding of Finance and Payroll processes. The Finance and Payroll Coordinator will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records and deliver timely payroll services.

Financial Transaction Processing:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any financial discrepancies or issues.

Payroll Administration:

• Coordinate and process payroll activities for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely payment.

• Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions.

• Calculate and process payroll adjustments, such as overtime, bonuses, and

commissions.

• Ensure compliance with applicable payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.

• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and provide exceptional customer service.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Preparation of financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Perform monthly reconciliations of financial statements and bank accounts.

• Preparation of year-end financial statements and audits.

• Analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Compliance and Auditing:

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial and Payroll regulations, laws, and standards.

• Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

• Participate in the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and Payroll information.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial and Payroll processes.

• Stay updated with industry best practices, trends, and changes in Finance and Payroll regulations.

Experience & Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• WWVP and Driver’s Licence.

• Prior experience in Finance and Payroll administration is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of financial and Payroll processes, laws, and regulations.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• High level of professionalism and integrity in handling confidential information.
