Due to continued growth, we are looking for a new Finance Business Partner to be a key member of the cross-functional and leadership teams for Supply Chain and Logistics providing financial insights and analysis to assist in making informed decisions and drive business strategy.
The Finance Business Partner will contribute to the strategic transformation and support of significant savings across the business through one of our Group’s key strategic pillars – Global Supply Chain. This is an integral role in the finance team as we continue to bolster the DNA of the team, and deliver commercial outcomes.
What You Will Be Doing
- Deliver insightful Supply Chain analysis and commercial recommendations that shape brand strategies
- Prepare and present Feasibility on strategic initiatives
- Deliver Post Implementation Reviews on Supply Chain outcome
- Contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast processes, with a specific focus on Financial management of freight, Storage spend and inventory
- Reporting on month-end results for Supply Chain, KPI management reporting and analysis
- Overseeing freight and storage costs for financial analysis
- Business partnering with Supply Chain and Logistics to drive insights, financial facts and make recommendations for strategic decision making that will impact revenue and cost outcomes
- Contributing and Inspiring the broader finance team by role modelling the SRG Values and Golden Rules
About You
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within Retail/FMCG or similar industry
- Prior experience to supply chain (transport and warehousing) environment is required
- Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated experience of providing insights to support business decision making
- Ability to navigate financial systems (SAP) including advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint (including advanced formulas and ability to prepare decks for Senior Management)
- Very strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with teams and to business partner with a variety of stakeholders
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and hit deadlines
