- This is a high visibility 2IC role directly reporting to the CFO, Australia and New Zealand supporting the business on commercial finance and FP&A activities
- You'll be controlling the annual budgets and in-year forecasts for the A&NZ region and work with business leaders on evaluation of new partners, portfolio optimisation and establishing / validating portfolio, channel and partner commercials
- You'll be responsible for delivering quality and insightful commentary on business drivers and variance analysis as part of management reporting cadence to Group and A&NZ stakeholders
- You'll work with the Sales & Distribution team, Products & Pricing and New Markets team to establish commercial business cases for new partnerships and commercial review of existing contracts
- You'll have the opportunity to influence the business on optimising cost-to-serve and cost-to-acquire KPIs
- You'll develop accurate commercial modelling to support new tender or renewal decisions. This involves extensive collaboration across the business to collate inputs and developing key assumptions
- You'll lead the co-ordination & management of the budgeting & forecasting process for A&NZ region
- You'll complete ad hoc preparation & presentation of analysis as required by business stakeholders in the A&NZ region
- You'll review balance sheet and P&L reconciliations to ensure that there are “no surprises” in financial reporting for A&NZ region through errors and omissions.
- You'll drive innovation across the finance function to provide more insightful information delivered more efficiently.
- You'll be CA/CPA qualified
- You'll have 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
- You'll have strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial aspects in a way that can be understood by internal customers
- You'll have financial modelling, analytical, validation skills
- You'll have effective stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- You'll be flexible in your approach and have the ability to reprioritise workload
